AA Introduces Self-Service Bag-Tagging

American Airlines introduced self-service kiosks for baggage tagging at seven US airports.

Passengers who check-in for their flights at the kiosk can also print their own baggage tags and attach these on their baggage. Passengers who have checked in for their flights online can use the kiosks to print baggage tags.

After attaching the tags, passengers drop off their self-tagged baggage at the designated Self Tag drop-off location.

The self-service bag-tagging kiosks are offered currently at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), Orlando International Airport (MCO), Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Denver International Airport (DEN) and Miami International Airport (MIA).
