American Airlines and Malaysia Airlines have expanded their code-sharing agreement with the inclusion of more US destinations.
The expanded agreement allows for greater connection options between the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, and the US Cities of Atlanta, Boston, Washington, Houston, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego through the the Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Miami gateways.
Customers will also be able to connect to Singapore and Bangkok through Kuala Lumpur.
The two oneworld alliance member airlines, launched their initial code-sharing agreement in March of this year. They will further expand their mutual code-sharing agreement in the remainder of 2013 and in 2014 to include more destinations.
