American Airlines plans to increase its flights to London Heathrow from Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami in winter 2013 and replace all Boeing 767 on the two routes with Boeing 777 aircraft.
The airline will operate 17 weekly flights from Dallas Fort Worth to London Heathrow from October 27, up from 14 flights per week at present. All flights will be serviced by Boeing 777-200ER/-300ER aircraft.
American will also increase flights on the Miami-London Heathrow route to 14 a week (twice daily) in winter 2013-14, up from 10 times a week at present. All the flights will be operated by Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The airline is also introducing its Boeing 777-300ER on the London to Los Angeles route from June 12. Boeing 777s already fly on the Heathrow – New York JFK and Heathrow – Dallas Fort Worth routes.
