The launch of American Airlines’ new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft has been delayed to January 2013. The airline originally planned the debut of the new 777s in December 2012. American has ordered 10 of these planes, which feature a vastly upgraded first class with aisle access for each passenger; seats with two power outlets, a USB outlet, a swivel seat, Bose headsets a 17 inch screen; and a walk-up bar for socializing.
American Airlines has recently faced myriad issues including seats coming loose during flights which may have contributed to the delay in launching the 777s.
