Air Canada Rouge, the leisure-focused subsidiary of Air Canada that began operations in July 2013, will expand to a total of 23 warm-weather vacation destinations for the 2013-2014 winter season.
The new destinations will include Orlando, Sarasota, and Las Vegas as well as popular holiday spots in the Caribbean and Mexico.
From July 1, Air Canada Rouge will begin flights from Toronto to 13 popular vacation destinations including Edinburgh; Venice; Athens; Kingston (Jamaica); Punta Cana, Puerto Plata and Samana (the Dominican Republic); Varadero, Cayo Coco, Holguin and Santa Clara (Cuba); and San Jose and Liberia (Costa Rica). The airline will also fly to Athens from Montreal.
Many mainline Air Canada routes will be moved to Air Canada Rouge in a phased manner beginning from October 2013.
