Air China’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring new ‘Smiling China’ livery arrived at New York’s JFK for the launch of its upgraded Beijing-New York flights on March 31, 2013.
Air China has increased the frequency of its non-stop Beijing to New York flights to 11 per week from the 7 per week scheduled before March 31. The airline also replaced the existing aircraft with its new 777-300ER aircraft.
The aircraft features eight luxury suites in the Forbidden Pavilion (first class) and 41 seats in the Capital Pavilion (business class).
Air China is also launching direct flights between Beijing and Houston on June 11, 2013.
