Air China has expanded its “baggage through check-in” service to 13 international airports including four North American airports from May 21.
The “baggage through check-in” service is available for Air China passengers flying from one of the 13 airports and connecting to cities in China through Air China’s hub at Beijing Capital International Airport.
Passengers can check their baggage through to their final destination whe they check-in at their home airport and upon arrival in Beijing, their luggage will be transferred by the airline to their connecting flight. The passengers have to only clear the immigration formalities and board their connecting flights. No more hassles with retrieving, hauling and rechecking luggage.
The service is available from 13 cities – London, Paris, Dusseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Stockholm, Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Geneva.
“Baggage through check-in” will also be available at Houston when Air China begins its flights between Houston and Beijing on July 12.
