Air China is increasing the flight frequency and upgrading the aircraft for its nonstop New York-Beijing flights. The airline will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for the flights beginning on March 31. The frequency of the flights will be increased to 11 per week from the current seven per week on July 11.
The aircraft will have eight luxury suites in the Forbidden Pavilion (first class) and 41 full-flat bed seats in the Capital Pavilion (business class). The two premium classes will also feature mood lighting. Air China is the only airline with nonstop flights between New York and Beijing.
