Air France unveiled its new long-haul premium economy and economy cabins at the International French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa fair in Paris held in late September 2013.
The new economy seat is ergonomically designed and offers more legroom, a new seat cushion, improved headrests, a wider tray table, a power outlet and headphones holder.
The new premium economy seat retains the design introduced in 2009 and adds more comfortable seat cushions and a multi-position footrest.
Air France also plans to upgrade its in-flight entertainment systems with new wide high-definition touch screens and more content variety.
The airline plans to introduce the new cabins in its 44 long-haul Boeing 777s beginning in summer 2014.
