Great news if you’re flying internationally on Air New Zealand – from Australia to New Zealand or vice versa, or from Auckland back to the United States and are facing a long layover before your flight.
Air New Zealand is now allowing its passengers as well as those of its partner airlines the option to use Air New Zealand’s lounges in New Zealand and Australia by paying a small fee at the time of entry. The one-time domestic lounge entry prices range from NZ$35 (about $28) for up to 4 hours and NZ$55 (about $45) for more than 4 hours. For international lounges, the prices are NZ$55 for up to 4 hours to NZ$85 (about $85) for over 4 hours.
The partner airlines whose passengers will be able to gain access to the lounges are Virgin Australia, all Star Alliance airlines, Air Mauritius, China Southern, Delta, Etihad, Hawaiian, Korean Air, Philippine Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
