Air Pacific (to be renamed as Fiji Airways in June 2013) has taken the delivery of its second Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Air Pacific A330s have 24 Zodiac Aerospace/Weber angled lie-flat Tabua business class seats with power/USB outlets and Panasonic eX2 in-flight entertainment systems with 15.4-inch screens.
The 249 economy class seats offer power/USB outlets and 9-inch IFE displays.
The latest A330 aircraft will fly on its first regular flight from Nadi to Sydney on June 3.
The new aircraft has been named Island of Namuka-i-Lau following the airline’s tradition of naming its aircraft with the names of Fiji’s islands.
Air Pacific will receive another A330, the last of the three A330s it has ordered, in November 2013.
