Low-cost budget airline, AirAsia X, inked a deal to acquire six Airbus A330s to strengthen its move into the Asia – Australia market. The Malaysia-based carrier has cut its flights to India and Europe while focusing on flights to China, Japan, South Korea and Australia. The carrier is a few-frills, budget airline – with tickets available only from its website. If you’re looking for low-cost flights to destinations within Asia – Australia (AirAsia X does not fly to or from the United States or Canada), check them out for serious savings compared to the more established and traditional carriers.
