Good news for European and especially Germany-bound Christmas travelers. Airberlin, Germany’s second largest airline after Lufthansa and a Oneworld airline alliance member, has announced that it will fly Christmas trees under 2 metres of height for free on its entire international network in December.
Airberlin operates from four destinations in the US – Fort Myers, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. The airline is also launching a service between Chicago and Berlin in March 2013.
