Airbus has announced the delivery of its 100th Airbus A380 ‘superjumbo’ aircraft – the largest passenger airliner in the world. The aircraft was delivered to Malysian Airlines and is the sixth A380 the airline is flying.
Launched in 2007, Airbus A380 is now a part of the fleet of nine airlines. The aircraft has flown 36 million passengers in about 100,000 flights with a current daily average of about 140 flights from 32 airports around the world. Total orders of the A380 now stand at 262 with a total of 20 customers.
