A real airfare bargain this summer will be Delta Air Lines’ new premium economy seats.
Available for sale beginning in May – and only on long-haul international flights – these seats will feature 50 percent more recline and up to 4″ increased legroom over the existing economy class seat configuration. The new “Economy Comfort” class will be a comfortable way to fly internationally at a reasonable price – and offer travelers a better sleep on the way to their vacations.
Delta plans to introduce the new cabin class in the first few rows of the economy cabin on its Boeing 747, 757, 767, 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft.
Economy Comfort seats represent an airfare bargain through their pricing – the seats will be available for an additional fee of $80 – $160 (depending on destination) one-way. If you have already purchased your cheap international airfare in Delta’s economy class, you’ll be able to upgrade your seats on Delta’s website or at airport kiosks in May.
In addition to increased leg room and a comfy seat recline, when you purchase Delta’s Economy Comfort tickets, you’ll be able to board the plane early and enjoy complimentary alcoholic beverages throughout the flight. Your seat will feature a personal seat-back entertainment unit with complementary HBO programming and an in-seat power supply.
Check out this airfare bargain for your next long-haul international flight.
