Officials from Australia’s Gold Coast, a popular tourist destination on the country’s eastern coast famous for its beaches and nightlife, and Las Vegas are discussing direct flights between the two cities. At present there are no direct flights between Las Vegas and Australia and all current flights require a short flight to either Los Angeles or San Francisco for a non-stop flight to either Sydney or Brisbane, and another short flight to Gold Coast Airport.
The talks are reported to be in the early stages.
