Fliers Unhappy With Opaque Fees

A vast majority of US travelers are dissatisfied with the opaque pricing policies of airlines, according to a recent survey. The survey, conducted by Harris Interactive for Open Allies for Airfare Transparency, found that 94 percent of American air travelers wanted all fee-related information to be available to travel agents and online booking sites. The survey also found that over half of the survey respondents reported being surprised by the additional fees after they had booked their tickets.
