Southwest Hints At New Rules

Southwest is planning to introduce restrictions on its Wanna Get Away fares – the lowest fares for each flight on the airline. The airline’s chief financial officer, Tammy Romo, hinted about the new restrictions coming into effect later in 2013 at a recent conference.

Unlike most US airlines, Southwest does not charge its passengers extra for changing their ticket after the purchase. This is also expected to change with the new rules.
