Travelers on the West Coast have more options for cheap tickets Europe through Air Berlin’s new non-stop service from San Francisco (SFO) to Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) which launched in mid-May.  The twice-weekly flights (Wednesdays and Fridays) will continue through October 22, 2010.

Departing at 3:20 pm and arriving in Dusseldorf slightly after 11:00 am the next day, in less than 11 hours travelers will be able to connect through Air Berlin’s Dusseldorf hub to many of Europe’s premier destinations, including Barcelona, Paris, London, Vienna, Zurich and Berlin.

Return flights depart on Wednesday and Friday from Dusseldorf at 11:20 am and arrive back in San Francisco at 1:40 pm the same day.

Travelers will fly on an Airbus 330-200 with 24 seats in business class and 279 coach class seats.  With a two-two-two seating  configuration, business class passengers are assured of added comfort with either a window or aisle seat.
