
Air Pacific will rebrand in 2013 as Fiji Airways. The familiar colors of Air Pacific will transform into a design inspired by the airline’s Fijian traditions.
Fiji-based airline Air Pacific, which will re-brand itself as Fiji Airways in 2013, plans to introduce new business and economy class seats on its new Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The business class seats will have a 60-inch pitch with an electrically actuated reclining system while the economy class will have a 7.5-inch recline with a contoured composite back. All seats will have Panasonic Avionics’ eX2 system in-flight entertainment systems. The airline is also introducing new Fiji-themed livery for its aircraft as part of the re-branding.
