German airline Lufthansa has recently updated its mobile site (mobile.lufthansa.com) and its mobile app for smartphones. The new app has a simple page structure with updated navigation and now provides automatic flight status updates including gate changes. The future versions of the app will enable travelers to file their personal details and travel documents for easy access and automatic completion of web forms.
Lufthansa launched its mobile website in 2007 and at present the site receives over 140,000 visitors daily.
The App is available for free download at Google Play and the Apple iTunes Appstore.
