Chicago O’Hare Airport opened a Farmer’s Market Kiosk that sells fruits, vegetables and airport-grown herbs and honey.
San Francisco International Airport (followed by Dallas Fort Worth Airport) opened the world’s first airport Yoga Room in Terminal 2 for “contemplation and self-reflection.”
In November, Denver International Airport installed over 200 phones offering free local and international ad-supported calls.
In the same month, McCarran International Airpot (Las Vegas) became the first US airport to have a packaged liquor store in the baggage claim area.
Other notable airport developments include significant expansion of Thanks Again airport loyalty programs to over 170 US airports and the expansion of TSA PreCheck to 35 airports.
