Alaska Airlines is launching a number of new non-stop flights between cities in the Pacific Northwest and various winter recreation destinations in November and December.
The new flights are between Portland and Reno/Tahoe, California, beginning November 8, between Seattle and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, from December 18, and between San Diego and Mammoth, California, from December 19.
The airline is also increasing its in flights between Los Angeles and Mammoth, on December 1, and launching seasonal flights from Seattle and Los Angeles to Sun Valley, Idaho, from December 14.
Many of these flights will be operated by Alaska Airlines’ regional partners Horizon Air, using 76-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and SkyWest Airlines, using 70-seat Bombardier CRJ-700 aircraft. Both Horizon and SkyWest operated flights will offer free soft drinks and Starbucks coffee.
