American Airlines Launches Meal Reservations

American Airlines is offering its business class and first class customers the option to select their in-flight meals before departure. The option has been launched for premium passengers flying between New York’s JFK International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport, and between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Beginning on November 15, the program will also be available for all flights between JFK and San Francisco International Airport, between Chicago’s O’Hare and LAX, between O’Hare and LaGuardia, and Dallas/Fort Worth and LAX.

American plans to expand the program to all its domestic US flights by the first quarter of 2013 and to all international flights by the second quarter of 2013.
