American Airlines, the main US code-share partner of Qantas for flights to Australia, is changing its old fleet of planes with new planes like Airbus A321 on which they are also changing the seating configurations by making it more spacious and comfortable. First class will be a 2-2 arrangement with large seatback TVs, USB jacks, at-seat power and wifi internet. Business class will have 10 rows in a 2-2 eating arrangement, with fully flat lie-down seats. In economy class there will be a main cabin extra legroom option and regular seats with wifi, power, USB ports and an 8.9 inch monitor.
The new configuration for the A321s will be used on American’s LAX-JFK and SFO-JFK flights beginning in late 2013.
