Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) will restart Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights from June 1 with the 787 flights resuming on the Tokyo Narita-San Jose, Tokyo Haneda-Frankfurt and Tokyo Haneda-Beijing routes.
The airline will also introduce the 787 on the Tokyo Narita-Beijing and Tokyo Narita-Shanghai (from August 1) and Tokyo Haneda-Taipei routes from June 1.
The bookings for these routes reopened on May 10, 2013 (Friday).
ANA plans to introduce the 787 on domestic Japanese routes from June 1 beginning with the Tokyo Haneda-Akita route.
All Boeing 787 aircraft were grounded in January over safety issues. The US FAA allowed the aircraft to fly again in late April after improvements to aircraft’s battery system suggested and tested by Boeing were approved.
