British Airways will launch flights between London City airport and the German city of Dusseldorf from September 1.
The airline will operate three daily flights to Dusseldorf that will be serviced by 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft.
Dusseldorf is an important business and financial hub. The city is also known for its arts and fun fair on the Rhine River.
The British Airways flights will offer a generous free hold and cabin baggage allowance, free on-line check-in and seat selection up to 24 hours before departure and complimentary in-flight food/drinks. Travelers on the flights also benefit from quick service at London City Airport, with an average of just 15 minutes of passing time from curbside to airside.
The single-runway London City is the only airport located inside London.
