British Airways operates two daily all-business-class flights from London (London City) to New York (JFK) with flight numbers BA001/BA003 – once held by the BA’s Concorde flights on same route.
The flights use an Airbus 318 in a 32 seat all-business-class configuration.
The flight experience is arguably as close to a private jet feeling in a commercial mass market flight as possible.
The flight has comfortable full flat seats, excellent interiors, polite service and delicious in-flight meals.
Travelers on the ‘baby bus’ service also get BA’s First Class tier points instead of business class points.
An added huge convenience is pre-clearance of US immigration at a short fuel stopover in Ireland, allowing the passengers to walk out of the airport at JFK like any domestic arrival.
