United is a popular airline for traveling to Australia with flights from Los Angeles to Sydney and Melbourne and the only non-stop flights between Sydney and San Francisco. The airline operates a Boeing 747 in a four class (with Economy Plus) configuration on its Australia routes.
Each aircraft has 52 fully-flat 19-inch wide Business Class seats in a 2-4-2 configuration on the lower deck and 2-2 configuration on the upper deck.
The 20 seats on the upper deck are a better option as each seat is either a window seat or an aisle seat. The best seats are located in the more peaceful zones of the cabin and include four rear seats in the upper deck with extra storage spaces, four upper deck seats in front of the exit row doors and outer seats in row 7 (in the lower deck).
