Hong Kong based airline Cathay Pacific is considering new improved Business and First Class seats for the 48 Airbus A350 aircraft it has on order. The airline is expected to receive its first installment of 22 A350-900 aircraft in February 2016 and the second installment of 26 A350-1000 aircraft in 2018. The upcoming Airbus A350 is the Airbus counterpart of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner in terms of fuel-efficiency and comfort. The A350s will allow Cathay Pacific to replace its Boeing 747 and A340 fleet with a more fuel efficient aircraft.
