Cathay Pacific is planning to introduce new upgraded first and business class seats in its upcoming Airbus A350 long-haul aircraft, according to Australian Business Traveler:
The airline plans to induct 48 Airbus A350 aircraft by 2020 with the first of the aircraft to be introduced in February 2016. The A350s will replace Cathay Pacific’s Boeing 747 and Airbus A340 aircraft.
Airbus A350 is currently under development. The aircraft has been designed for better fuel-efficiency and is a competitor to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The first delivery of Airbus A350 is expected in 2014 to Qatar Airways.
