Good news for anyone flying Business Class from the US to destinations in Aisa on Hong Kong based airline Cathay Pacific. Your connecting flight will soon be much more comfortable.
Cathay unveiled its new regional business class seats. The new seats are one inch wider at 21 inches, have two-inches more seat pitch (47 inches) and greater recline when compare to Cathay’s existing seats. Another feature is that the new seats slide forward while reclining, thus reducing any discomfort to the person seated behind.
Other additions include a multi-port connector for iPhone/iPads/iPods, a universal AC power outlet and a USB port to interact with the in-flight entertainment system. The new seats will be installed on all regional Boeing 777-200/300 and A330-300 aircraft by the end of 2014.
