Searching for the very cheapest Europe flights this year? Depending on your destination, you may find the Russian airline Aeroflot with flights priced much lower than other airlines. Chances are you haven’t heard much about Aeroflot and are wondering how they can offer the such cheap flights to Europe.
For years, Aeroflot had a no-so-great reputation among the international airline carriers. “No frills airline” would be an understatement. Aeroflot’s domestic flights often included goats and chickens among the passenger count.
Fast forward to the second decade of the 21st century. Aeroflot is now a member of the SkyTeam Alliance which includes Delta (and all the former Northwest flights and aircraft), Air France, Alitalia, KLM, Korean Air and a few others. In addition to offering access to SkyTeam member lounges and frequent flier mileage accrual, SkyTeam Alliance membership requires higher standards for customer comfort and safety.
Aeroflot came to the fore. Based on SkyTeam’s April to September 2009 Onboard Survey, the Russian airline was in top place among SkyTeam members in Europe for passenger service on economy class European flights and business class international flights.
According to Aeroflot’s management, the airline’s priority goal is to become the best carrier in Europe in terms of service quality. In the 2009 survey, they achieved their goal on many aspects of on-board service – cabin comfort, attendant service, meals, boarding procedure and the quality of the business class entertainment system.
When you’re searching for the cheapest Europe flights, remember that Aeroflot is now committed to making your air travel a pleasant and comfortable experience.
