Lufthansa opened its A-Plus Concourse in Terminal 1 at the Frankfurt International Airport in October 2012.
The new facility is designed to easily handle large airplanes such as the airline’s 526-seater Airbus A380s, and its smaller Airbus A340s, Boeing 747s & 747-8s.
The new facility features a lighter, brighter and spacious terminal with 7 gates. Over 60 new shops and restaurants offer a large variety of dining and duty-free shopping options.
Five new lounges with over 7,600 square meters – almost 82,000 square feet! – are located in the new addition.
