Many travelers have the option to choose from multiple airports as their departure point. Though most travelers choose an airport on the basis of airfare and distance, travelers must also take into account other factors as well.
For example, good traffic conditions on the route to a much farther airport may make it quicker to reach than a nearby airport on a heavy traffic route. Similarly, available parking options, access to public transit, tolls, proximity to hotels, security procedures, baggage handling, nightime curfews in airports located in residential areas, amenities such as WiFi and the general feel of the airport are other factors to consider.
