Delta has expanded its existing code-sharing agreement with Latin American low-cost carrier GOL.
Under the expansion, Delta flights between São Paulo/Guarulhos and New York and Detroit will now be available for purchase on the sales channels of GOL including its website (www.voegol.com), Voe GOL stores, GOL’s call center and travel agents.
GOL had started code-sharing on Delta’s flights between the Brazilian capital, Brasilia and Delta’s largest US hub, Atlanta, after the previous code-sharing expansion in May. The two airlines have been code-sharing since February 2011.
The two airlines also offer reciprocal frequent flyer benefits including accumulation and redeeming of miles, priority check in and boarding and access to lounges.
