Delta Airlines will launch a second daily nonstop flight between its Atlanta hub and the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo from March 2014.
The new flights will be operated using a 210-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 35 BusinessElite flat bed seats, 32 seats in Economy Comfort (Delta’s version of premium economy) and 143 seats in Economy.
The new flights will expand Delta’s operations between the US and Brazil to 42 nonstop weekly flights. The flight will be also be code-shared with Delta’s Brazilian partner, GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes.
From its Atlanta hub, Delta operates daily flights to Brasilia and Rio De Janeiro. The airline also operates daily non-stop flights to Sao Paulo from New York’s JFK Airport and Detroit.
Delta operates a total of 63 non-stop international flights from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
