Delta will launch a new Mexico inspired menu for Business Class passengers on its flights to and from Mexico City beginning August 1. The menu, featuring regionally inspired meals designed by Chef Michelle Bernstein, has been in the planning and tasting stage for the last six months.
Entrees on the breakfast menu include include Huevos a la Mexicana, Breakfast Burritos and Chocolate Pancakes. Selections from the lunch/dinner menu include Black Bean Hummus and Tortilla Española for the first course and Turkey Albondigas with Sofrito Sauce and Braised Short Ribs with Mole Sauce for the main course.
All meals use fresh ingredients including seasonal vegetables, herbs and spices that ensure an authentic Mexican flavor for the passengers.
