Delta has announced a number of new flights as well as expansion of existing flights to destinations in the Caribbean including Haiti, Aruba (Dutch Antilles) and the Bahamas.
Delta flights between Atlanta and Freeport in The Bahamas, will be upgraded to once daily from Saturday only flights at present from December 19, 2013 to August 18, 2014.
The airline is also launching new daily seasonal flights from Atlanta to Port-au-Prince in Haiti. The new flights will operate from June 5, 2014 to August 18, 2014.
Delta is expanding its flights to the Caribbean with the addition of a Saturday-only seasonal flight from LaGuardia Airport in New York to Aruba. This flight will operate from December 21, 2013 to August 16, 2014.
The Atlanta to Haiti and New York La Guardia to Aruba flights will be operated by 160-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
