Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) plans to launch a customer rewards program in June 2013. The new program will reward travelers making airport purchases with frequent flier miles and other benefits. The airlines participating in the DFW Customer Rewards program are American Airlines, Alaska, Delta, Frontier, United and US Airways.
“Whether spending money on parking, a gift or a quick bite to eat, travelers are now able to accumulate miles to redeem with their favorite airline, simply by buying what they’re already buying at the Airport,” said Jeff Fegan, CEO of DFW Airport in a press release announcing the program.
“DFW will be the only airport in the country that offers its customers miles for the total experience: on-Airport parking, shopping and dining, and hotel stays at all of our properties,” added Ken Buchanan, DFW’s executive vice president for revenue management.
Passengers interested in participating in the program have to register with their debit/credit cards at www.thanksagain.com.
Since this program began in 2013 many additional airports throughout the United States and Canada have enrolled and are offering its benefits to airport travelers. Details can be found on the thanksagain.com website.
