Emirates launched a daily nonstop flight linking Washington, DC’s Dulles International Airport and Dubai International Airport as of September 12, 2012.
Washington is the seventh US city to be covered by the airline.
The new flight uses Boeing 777-200LR aircraft with 3 cabin classes: First Class, Business Class and Economy Class. The plane will accommodate 266 passengers in varying degrees of comfort.
Eight First Class passengers will enjoy luxurious and spacious private suites with sliding doors to insure privacy.
Forty-two Business Class passengers, sitting in a 2-3-2 seat configuration, are insured a good sleep during their flight with comfortable lie-flat seats and quality bedding.
The Economy Class passengers will find themselves fairly cramped in a seating configuration of 3-4-3. Unfortunately with 10 seats across in the economy class cabin, the aisles are barely wide enough for the meal trolleys.
Anyone sitting in an aisle seat is at danger of being disrupted either by other passengers walking through the aisle or the trolley.
The newly launched Emirates flights will depart Dulles daily at 10:55 am and return from Dubai at 2:20 am.
From Dubai, travelers can connect to flights to Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
