Dubai based Emirates began daily non-stop flights between New York JFK Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport on October 1, 2013.
The Emirates flights are the only flights with first-class cabins on this route, according to a press release from the airline.
Emirates is flying Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Dubai – New York – Milan route with 8 Private Suites in First Class, 42 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 310 seats in Economy Class.
Amenities on the flight include gourmet chef-prepared meals, an in-flight entertainment system with up to 1,500 channels of content, luxurious lounges at JFK and Milan airports and complimentary chauffeur service to and from the airport for all First Class and Business Class travelers.
Located in northern Italy, Milan is the country’s second largest city and well-known for its varied regional cuisine, distinctive historical buildings, fashion innovations and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper.
