Dubai-based Emirates Airlines announced in October 2012 that it is expanding its services to three Southeast Asian countries – Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The airline will increase Dubai-Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) flights to 26 a week beginning in February 2013. It is also starting a third daily non-stop flight to the Philippine capital Manila from January 1 and a third daily flight to the Indonesian capital Jakarta beginning on March 1 next year.
The airline said that the service expansion is based on strong demand for these routes.
Travelers from the United States will be able to connect to Emirates’ additional flights to Southeast Asia and include a stopover in Dubai for a relaxing holiday.
