Emirates will soon launch in-flight WiFi Internet access on its Airbus A380 flights to Australia from Dubai. Its satellite Internet partner OnAir has secured the required authorization. The airline had launched WiFi Internet access on A380s in May but had to disable it in Australian airspace as it lacked authorization. The service will be available on the new Melbourne-Dubai A380 flights that commence on October 2 as well as the trans-Tasman part of Emirate’s Sydney and Melbourne flights. The lowest charges for access will be $7.50 for 5 MB data usage.
