Dubai based Emirates will launch its first transatlantic service with flights between New York’s JFK and Milan beginning October 1, 2013.
Passengers of Emirates’ New York – Milan flights will have access to Emirates’ renowned service and quality plus extensive connection options through the airline’s partnership with JetBlue in the US and easyJet in Europe. The airline has timed the schedule of the flights to maximize the connectivity options.
The flight will depart from New York at 10:20 pm daily and arrive in Milan at 12:15 pm the following day. The returning flight will depart Milan at 4:00 pm, arriving in New York at 7:00 pm on the same day
The flights, which will be extension of one of Emirates’ existing three daily Dubai-Milan flights, will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The aircraft will offer eight seats in First Class, 42 seats in Business Class and 310 seats in Economy. Onboard amenities include over 1,400 channels of in-flight entertainment and gourmet chef-prepared meals.
