UAE-based carrier Etihad launched daily direct flights between Amsterdam and its Abu Dhabi hub on May 15, 2013.
The flights will be served by 262-seat two-cabin Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 22 seats in Pearl Business Class and 240 seats in Coral Economy Class.
In time with the new flights, Etihad has also started code-sharing on 12 new destinations operated by its partner KLM Royal Dutch out of Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
The 12 additional KLM destinations available with Etihad’s code (EY) are Stockholm, Aberdeen, Barcelona, Bergen, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Leeds/Bradford and Madrid.
Etihad already code-shares on KLM flights to Billund, Cardiff, Newcastle, Oslo, and Stavanger.
KLM Royal Dutch will also add its KL code to 6 more Etihad Airways flights from Abu Dhabi.
