Etihad Airways has launched a two-level lounge at Dulles International Airport with direct boarding access to aircraft. Passengers will have speedy access to their flights without going through the departure gates.
Etihad launched daily flights between the UAE capital Abu Dhabi and Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. on March 31, 2013.
The features of the Etihad Airways First and Business Class Lounge include a separate lounge and television area, a dining room, a bar, small business center and comfortable seating areas throughout the space.
Meals and snacks are available from a self-service buffet or a la carte menu.
The lounge also features luxurious bathrooms with one shower facility in each, and a children’s play area for traveling families.
The airline is also planning to launch luxury lounges in New York, Sydney and Melbourne.
