Taiwanese airline EVA Air introduced its new business class cabin, Royal Laurel Class, on its daily flights between Taipei and London Heathrow via Bangkok in July 2013.
The Royal Laurel Class cabin on the Boeing 777 has 38 fully-flat bed convertible seats arranged in a reverse herringbone layout. The layout enables window-seat passengers to look out without turning.
Seat features including a shoe cabinet, retractable armrests, cocktail and dining tables, individual power outlets and noise-canceling headsets add to passenger’s comfort.
EVA’s Royal Laurel Business Class was first introduced on the Taipei – New York (JFK) route in June 2012. It is also available on EVA’s flights departing from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto.
EVA Air is installing the business class seats in all of its Boeing 777-300ERs.
