Air Pacific announced that it will officially commence operations as Fiji Airways from June 27, 2013.
Air Pacific last year introduced its rebranding plans with a new name, radical new livery and new logo as well as new aircraft interiors. The new Fiji Airways livery was recently rated as the best livery design of 2012 by air travel design website TheDesignAir.
The airline will also introduce new crew uniforms, customer experience and website – fijiairways.com – to complement the rebranding.
Air Pacific has recently inducted two Airbus A330-200 aircraft into its fleet for use on long-haul routes. The A330 aircraft offers 24 lie-flat seats and Panasonic eX2 in-flight entertainment systems with 15.4-inch screens in business class.
