Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines will launch daily round-trip service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and its Denver hub from May 17. The flights will operate on all days except Saturday and use a 168-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. The new flights will enable travelers to connect to over 20 Frontier destinations from its Denver hub.
This will be the first major service of a low-cost carrier to Cincinnati since 1998, when AirtTran stopped its Cincinnati operations. The city is one of the largest in the US that is not served by Southwest.
